Geo-exchange systems use solar heat stored in the earth, just below the frost line.

In colder months, heat pumps draw heat from the ground to warm buildings, while in warmer months, the system uses the cooler ground as a bracket  heat sink to cool buildings.  geo-exchange systems are effective for:

Forced air heating.
Radiant floor heating.
Hot water baseboard.
Domestic water heating.
Air-conditioning, and swimming pool heating.

Geo-exchange systems can be used to supply energy to a variety of multifamily residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
